I needed to buy a sheaf of flowers for a very special occasion on short notice. Boyd's provided turn-around service with a beautiful display of flowers for me to present to our hostess.
Boyds Flowers came through for me with flying colors even though I experienced internet problems when placing my order. While completing my internet order over the weekend , the Boyds website suddenly shut down just after I added my credit card information. I assumed my order did not go through so I pulled up their website again and properly placed my order. To my surprise I received two order confirmations! On Monday, I called Boyds and spoke with Somal explaining what happened. I gave her to order number to cancel and was assured this order was indeed cancelled, and I could expect a refund in 7-10 business days. To my surprise two identical flower arrangements were delivered to my Aunt Gail on Wednesday. I was shocked and saddened. Finally, on Thursday, the manager named Helen apologized for the mix-up and assured me my refund will occur as noted above. These are tough times for all small businesses nationwide as labor/staffing shortages continue. I will continue to send my flower delivery needs to Boyds Flowers's website yet I will be extra careful when it comes time to add my credit card information. The internet is anything but predicable!
Ordered from out of state. For $90 I should have gone with 1800Flowers. The bouquet is a mess with 50% tiny "daisies" that look like weeds. Very disappointed. Maybe they figured I would never see it. Wish I hadn't.
