NEGATIVE 0 PJ is obviously a STRAIGHT UP "SHYSTER/SCAMMER" ALWAYS DIG DEEP BEFORE HIRING ANYONE... And, more importantly.... NEVER HIRE SOMEONE WHO ASKS & WANTS ***75% UPFRONT***... That right there... is a *BIG RED FLAG,* waving at ya's!! First off... lemme say this...PJ needs to do the "RIGHT THING" and "REFUND" the monies back "ASAP" to one of his recent clients (Sofia) who happens to be a neighbor of mine. Also, sadly... I'm even seeing that she is NOT the only one nearby who has had BAD DEALINGS w/him, is even more disturbing to know. Oh & yes... lets not forget to mention this, too.... Mr PJ will even also go as far as to BLOCK his customers from his Facebook (like he did to Sofia) to keep you from posting anything negative about his prestige workmanship on his business page Time to WAKE UP, MR PJ!!!! So... PJ, we (at NextDoor) would like to give u just a little TIP .... "INTEGRITY" it goes a long way... Just saying. Live it, and learn it!! Period. Secondly... PJ, (as a local homeowner myself) me just seeing your work online tonight, on NextDoors Social Media, made me SICK!!! THOSE PICS SAID IT ALL!! You seriously should be "ASHAMED" of yourself & more so.... completely "EMBARRASSED," to say the least!! Bc... I'm embarrassed, for you!!! So.... let's be honest, it may be time for you to find another "hobby" to do, since, it's a given, that YOU are NOT even QUALIFIED to build LEGOS!!

STAY AWAY. We hired PJ with Newleaf Landdesign in March 2022. We discussed the design in detail prior to that starting in 2021 and he provided references that we were able to verify and even visited one of those references. He spoke well and said all the right things and agreed on price. We signed a detailed contract and agreed the work would take 2 weeks weather permitting with an ECD end of March. He urged us to pay 25% at contract signing to save our place in line cause he was busy. He started a week or so later than discussed and he asked for 50% at work start so he can bring the material to avoid supply chain issues. We expected a crew but he started off with an excuse for that and came all alone. He started excavating with some rented equipment that kept breaking. We showed grace and were patient as he started giving one excuse after another, after all small business were having issues left and right with hired help. At this point he has 75% of our money and hardly any work was being done. He then decides to go on vacation but promised us to subcontract the work to someone else to do the excavation. We have a pool of water at this point in our yard and a mountain of dirt in our driveway. The subcontractor came in April with the right equipment and from what we could tell did a decent job. Once the excavation was done in April and gravel was down by the subcontractor that's when things paused completely. PJ showed up a couple of days for a few hours followed by over 2 months of no show. We kept begging him via text to pick up the phone. The material that we paid for in March didn't show up until June 8!! We thought the delays were bad but it wasn't until he started laying the pavers that the insanity started. He did the worse job ever imagined. A toddler can stack these pavers better. Every person that would come by would comment on how bad it looked. We tried to point out issues to him that were dismissed and he would say we need to trust him as he knows what he is doing. He built steps on the side of the house with blocks that started caving within a week. He finally left the work unfinished and refused to fix the issues. He said he would sent us invoices for the material ordered and that he would give us the money back!!! we are still waiting! I don't think we are the only ones he has done this to and considering he was always on the phone selling I don't think we are the last sadly! I have photos, videos, text messages, a detailed timeline of his work and a contract to prove everything Here is where I post on next-door neighbor with photos and videos.
