“Jae did our makeup for our wedding (bride, bridesmaids, flower girl, and mothers) and was so amazing to work with. The trial was such a fun experience, all of her prep documents are so professional and provided all the details you need, and she made the day-of a breeze! “Let me start off by saying that I have a cosmetology mom with 40+ years of experience and I have been exposed to so many salons in the area, so I know a good salon when I see one. The Lab has truly blown me away. From the consultation process alone that I had on the phone I was given a pricing quote. Never in my life have I ever been given such transparency with pricing at a salon before even stepping foot in it. The quote I received was almost exactly what I paid when I was finished with my hair. This rarely ever happens to me. The consultation was also thorough as they asked for my hair history and truly cared to keep my hair healthy. Lindsay is incredible. I have been to so many hair stylists, none of them have ever taken the time to massage my head, ever. As a matter of fact, most of the stylists i’ve been to pawn me off for an assistant to wash my hair. That is not the case here, if you book with a stylist they are your stylist the entire time which is rare to find. I also would spend hours at other places and dread going because how packed the salons were and I would get anxious, this is not the case at The Lab. The music is good it’s not very loud, it’s a very relaxing space I love the plants and black and white aesthetic they have going on. Lindsay made my entire appointment a very luxurious experience that I fell asleep while she washed my hair and massaged my head and neck. I have also never been happy with blow outs I was given in the past, Lindsay gave me one of the best blow outs I have ever had, blew me away (literally). I would 110% recommend this salon, it is peaceful, professional, and luxurious. I cannot wait to come back for my next appointment!“

“I absolutely love my hair and do every time I go to Vanilla Bean Salon & Spa. I have three children so the time that I get away for my hair appointment is like a mini vacation. Haha I cherish my evenings with Somer because she is truly the best! She takes her time to make sure my hair is done properly and just makes the environment there so relaxing. The music that plays and the all over feeling of the salon is so comforting. I also have never seen a salon so clean! The floor is spotless along with all the beautiful furniture that is so comfortable to sit on. It's just a gorgeous place. The experience from walking in the door to leaving is just amazing.
