It's almost exactly like Home Depot, except not! It's been a very long time since I've been into a Lowe's - I really don't remember when. It's even possible I've never been in one. Who knows! Given the oppressive nature of Home Depot and its depressed and unhelpful employees and inability to find most anything there, my expectations weren't high. We had a difficult experience here. We are swapping out some toilets and have been struggling with the coordination between Lowe's themselves and the plumbers contracted via Lowe's installation program. The employees at Lowe's have been doing their best, and the plumbers have been helpful and also doing their best, but Lowe's system that it employs to communicate between us and the contracted plumbers is a nightmare. It has all sorts of issues from inventory availability accuracy, to scheduling and deployment. Getting two toilets installed has been a far greater ordeal than it needs to be. Well, here's my sad update. I was very dissapointed with my recent trip here, as I've had okay experiences in the past. I'm already nervous to go in anywhere with COVID, but have been pleasantly surprised with most people complying with mask wearing. Not here. Half the employees had the mask below their nose and the same goes for customers. I was heading to the kitchen area to look for a new kitchen sink and had a lot of questions. The two guys at the counter were absolutely no help. They discussed for 5 minutes who I should talk to (why wasn't it them?) and then said two random people "might" be in aisle 41 or 42.
