Just came back from a deployment and have to deal with Tricare, DEERS, and other clinic/hospital staff on the phone: The process and experience has been terrible, to stay the least, but talking to Valencia at the Benefits Line is a breath of fresh air. She was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Finally, someone willing and capable of doing their job with the instinct of wanting to help. Just wanted to give a shout out to her and hopefully it inspires others to be kind when dealing with each other.

The doctors are great!! No complaints there. However, this entire system needs to be revamped. Trying to get access to care in a respectable time is non existent. Don't even try to use the pharmacy.

Recommend switching to Tricare Select. Individually great people work here, but collectively a revolving door of providers, really bad phone system, and slow pharmacy all reduce access to care.
