“Bartlett took care of 3 aspects of our bush/trees landscaping - 2 20' tall holly bushes, 3 Japanese crabapple trees and large boxwood bushes across the front of our house. In mid-December they showed up to reshape the tall holly bushes, enabling last year's freeze to recover foliage. They carefully thinned the oversized boxwoods to provide air and light to encourage inner growth, to permit overall downsizing only after it will have taken hold, perhaps 1-3 years later. The crabapple trees were selectively thinned to remove suckers and overgrowth, and regain their natural shapes.I especially appreciated their longer view of what was needed, which will add value and not simply prune "to shape." They're interested in the trees' and bushes' health, and scheduled the visit during winter dormancy as well.The work crew was on time, courteous and cleanup was very well done. We particularly liked the way they listened to make sure they knew what we needed, and why.“
