Doctor Predicted I Would be Begging for Hip Surgery Before having physical therapy: . The orthopedic doctor said I would be begging for hip surgery in 6 months. My knee caused me so much pain. . The injection/drainage gave me side effects. . I spent many years of sleepless nights in pain. . I was limited in what I could do. (Walking up steps, getting in and out of car, walking on uneven ground.) Physical therapy has given me painless, peaceful sleep and I lead a normal life again. It has been 2 years and I still do the stretch/strengthening exercises because I see and feel the results. I did NOT have the surgery. I don’t get injections nor take meds. Physical therapy at Madden Gilbert with Adam Domovich was the best solution I could have for my health. Everyone should try physical therapy before having injections/drainage, taking meds or having surgery. Lorraine Blough, Mechanicsburg, PA
