“After many years of renting, I was finally in a position to buy my first home. Initially, I was hesitant about working with Amanda, since I knew her and Tim (her husband) from church and did not want to risk any awkwardness from mixing in a business relationship. After hearing so many good reviews from friends, though, I decided to contact Amanda to be my realtor. It was a great decision! Amanda was very responsive to my questions, punctual for appointments, and pro-active with next steps that I had to complete. I especially appreciated her quick replies to texted questions. She had good insights and frank opinions on any issues with the houses that we looked at. Amanda also was instrumental in moving up my closing date, so I was able to get in my house more quickly. And although it seems like a small detail, having free use of her moving van was very nice. No waiting to fill out or drop off paperwork at the U-haul place, especially after a hard day of moving! Her husband Tim also isn't just playing around - he helped me fix a few things at the house, came to some showings, repaired the lawn tractor that came with the property, etc. Seriously, he went above and beyond the call of duty. As a first-time home buyer, the process was potentially very confusing, but Amanda made it much more approachable. I am glad that I did not try to figure it out on my own, and would recommend Amanda to anyone considering buying a home in the Butler area.“
