I had the pleasure of having Dr. Claudia Wendel yesterday because of a sudden problem. I really liked her communication style and knowledge. I’ve been wearing contacts for years and she talked things through with me and made a few suggestions about how I might be able to have better vision (w/o having to rely on readers) by making an adjustment in my contact lenses. “I needed glasses ASAP, and they were able to make a pair that would work for me in a couple of hours for a reasonable price. The full set of options that I wanted for long-term use couldn't be done in-house, but they said they could ship them to me. I can get glasses a little cheaper at some online-only places, but having a physical store where I can double-check the fit is very helpful, especially when I'm looking at frames that don't have adjustable nose pieces. This place seems to be the best of both worlds; I can locate frames that should be the right size online where that's easier to do and then go to the store to make sure they're comfortable and place the order.“

She was very nervous, but everyone was so kind and explained what they'd be doing, any noises she'd hear from any of the machines. Giving her time to ask any questions before starting. Dr. Lisa Cox was wonderful during her exam and explaining everything to her. So happy we went here and I'll now be going here for myself.“

“The entire staff here is top notch. I went for an eye exam and left with a new set of daily contacts and eye glasses. Pricing was great considering I get a fresh pair of contacts everyday for the entire year, a new pair of glasses, and had a full exam. The best was that there was no pressure to buy anything and many times the staff would steer me towards a better deal. 5 out of 5, would recommend them to anyone.“

“I visited Gateway Eye as a new patient because it is close to my place of employment and they accept my vision insurance. Dr. Dang was exceptional. After she reviewed my medications and medical history, I admitted that I was overdue for a follow up with my medical provider regarding a potential medical issue that may effect my vision. Dr. Dang strongly encouraged me to follow up with my medical provider in regards to this issue. After my vision appointment, I scheduled the medical appointment that I needed to schedule. To make a long story short, this medical appointment resulted in a diagnosis for a medical condition that is now being treated. I personally would have blown the whole thing off until next year's visit with my PCP if not for Dr. Dang's encouragement to me to follow up on this.I specifically made this vision appointment because I suspected that I needed progressive lenses. Dr. Dang and the staff were excellent and they got me into my appointment promptly, and I was out of the appointment in a very short time with my new eyeglass prescription. It was very easy to order my new glasses from Gateway Eye.Finally, it was extremely easy to make an appointment at Gateway Eye. I intend to use them for my next vision appointment.“

They go above and beyond to help you through the process of the examination along with selecting and buying new glasses and contacts. Their website is very user friendly, and it is always easy to get an appointment, and evening hours too. Prices are great and a huge selection to choose from.During my visit, it was determined that my vision did not change however, I could not see clearly out of my current glasses, and it was mentioned that I may be allergic to Poly Lens. I didn't know what this meant, but Theresa took the extra time to sit with me and explain in detail the difference between Poly and Trivex lens. I opted for the New Trivex lens and first the first time in years, I'm seeing crystal clear. I'm so thankful to now have this understanding and to Theresa for walking me through it. For that, I truly recommend Dr. Gregory and his staff and thank them for a job well done.“

“I had a wonderful experience here! Staff was so friendly and attentive. I was taken to the patient room and for testing in a surprisingly timely manner (not what I'm always used to). The optometrist was personable and thorough. I was provided with a sample of daily contacts to try. After my exam, I was taken right to an associate to help with my contacts/glasses order. He was wonderful, helpful and patient. He provided me with a bunch of different options that I had a tough time choosing between. All my financial options were explained to me in an easy to understand way. Overall, I was very satisfied. I got everything I wanted to get done and more pretty quickly.“
