If you want true caring doctors who take the time to listen and exam you thoroughly then this provider is for you. The staff is always friendly and willing to help as well. You get the care you deserve and it is apparent that each patient is important to them; you're not just rushed in and out. Even if calling with a question the staff is always courteous and you always receive a timely response. Whether it is overseeing your care while hospitalized, following up on serious health issues or yearly wellness visits you can depend on them and that means a lot! They have no problem standing up for their patients if needed as wel!. I highly recommend them.
Probably the best eye store ever. I must say that the entire staff is professional on every encounter, and I have been at Vision Source many times. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Claudia Wendel yesterday because of a sudden problem. I really liked her communication style and knowledge. Dr. Strain and Dr. Wendel are truly the "best in the business." The office manager is pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend vision source south hills!

Summer and Ashley did hair at my wedding and absolutely crushed it. Everyones hair was beautiful and lasted all night. They were able to do such a wide variety of styles and did them all super well. On top of that, they were extremely kind and fun to hang out with morning of! Would recommend to anyone :)
UPDATE - 6/14/2024 - Tamara the salon owner and I got in touch and she asked me to come in to get the Brazilian Blowout treatment redone. I went in a few days ago and Tamara did the treatment herself (which I was relieved about). She is very personable and welcoming. My hair was blow dried straight when leaving, and I wanted to wait until I washed/wet my hair to see the results before I left an updated review. The results this time around are more like what I expected, the curls are much much softer and when air dried as opposed to how they were just as curly as my natural hair when I initially got it done. I'm still not a fan of the haircut that I was given previously but the BB treatment working this time around helps a bit and I'm hopeful the cut will grow out as the BB treatment diminishes on my hair. Because I had to go back to get the treatment done again, I'm not leaving a 5 star review.
6/10/2024 - I went to the salon a couple weeks ago for a haircut and Brazilian Blowout treatment. My hair is curly and I was looking forward to the BB treatment to smooth out my curls and make it easier to manage for the summer and our upcoming vacation. After the treatment, my hair was blow dried straight so it wasn't until I went home and washed it that I noticed that my hair was just as curly and a bit frizzy as before! It was like I didn't have a BB treatment. I was so upset because it's fairly expensive and was expecting smoother texture (not stick straight). I've had this treatment years ago so I know what it's supposed to look and feel like and this definitely wasn't it.
On to the haircut, it was terrible. I prefer to keep my hair (when dry) past my shoulders since it's naturally curly. This was all conveyed to the stylist who asked if I wanted layers and I said, yes. Since I was getting the BB treatment I specifically asked for my hair to be even with a couple of layers. What I got was 2 lengths (actually 3) in that the back of my hair was one length and a little past my shoulders and the front was barely brushing my shoulders - there was no transition between the lengths, very abrupt, harsh, and noticeable and mullet-like (not the look I was going for). On top of that, there is a noticeable difference in length between the front sides, where one side is definitely shorter than the other.
I called the salon 2 days later and let them know of my dissatisfaction. Didn't hear back and sent an email. After that were was a few days of "phone tag" from Tamara saying they have a two week policy of "making it right". She asked if I could come in on a Tues/Wed and it wasn't going to work for my schedule b/c I couldn't take off work and we're leaving for vacation. The BB treatment takes about 3 hours, I didn't have that sort of time within 2 weeks. I called and sent an email after Tamara's last message and haven't hear anything back...that was more than a week ago. So much for the "making it right" policy. At this point, I'd rather have my money back because I don't trust them to make it right, nor do I want to return to the salon.
I would not recommend this salon for a BB treatment or a haircut if you have curly/textured hair.
The salon is nice and so are the people who work there. Ally fixed my hair after a bad experience, so I'll be seeing her from now on. The service is also fast, no more sitting for hours.

Stylist: I had my first visit to Bawse last week. I requested sylest Olivia based on other reviews. I was beyond thrilled with my new cut and highlights. She was very attentive to what I requested via photos I'd saved. It's a smaller salon and the atmosphere of all the women working that evening was light and fun. Like getting your hair done in your best friend's nicely decorated living room. The staff seemed to genuinely like their job and one another. I will definitely be back. My new look seems to have shaved 10 years off of my appearance, according to my best friend.

Kiera and Shannon are the absolute best!! They both work with top notch precision and attention to detail. I literally look barber shop fresh when I leave here. No great clips or sports clips can touch what they do here.
Requested style: Low-mid bald fade and beard fade.
Stylist: Erin is the stylist of my choice. She is skilled with the clippers and always gives her 100 percent.

The best part about the Great Clips is their app. We do not have wait in line when we arrive there. We can check the wait times online and decide if it fits our schedule. I usually reserve my spot online and arrive there just in time. They even notifications on when we can start from home (depending on the distance from that location).
Most of the stylists (except may be one or two) are friendly, pleasant to talk to and do a good job. I rarely have a bad hair cut at this location.
They note down the size of the clippers used and how the hair was cut the last time so that we can do the same next time around (if we liked it) or make adjustments as needed.
Requested style: They do a good job of asking how we want the hair to be styled and do their best to accommodate for it
Stylist: I usually do not stick with one stylist, I go to whoever is available at the time. Except for one of them, everyone else was nice
Stopped by yesterday on the way to the airport to fly back home to Las Vegas. Haircut by Christy was excellent! (I can never tell the day of a haircut. I always wait to see how it looks the next day.) Very happy with it my friend. I'm so glad I had a couple of extra hours to kill before my flight and decided on the haircut. Next time I fly back to PA, I'll come back!
Nailuxx has a new regular!! Absolutely obsessed with my spring nails. I don’t often get my nails done because of how much it costs usually. Brooke did an amazing job with a full set + design, and it did not cost an arm and a leg! I’m bad at keeping conversations going, but Brooke and Keith both had me gabbing the whole time ?? super comfy place and I can’t wait to go back!

Not only did I feel very welcome when I arrived as a new client but when I called and said I needed someone who was good with short hair the girl who answered had the owner take me and let me just say the knowledge there is amazing not only did he color my hair perfectly with highlights the cut is perfect as well. I walked in last saturday for a styling for a wedding and was glad I did. Barb did a beautiful french braid and I had so many compliments! . Everyone was asking me where I got my hair done ! I had gone to another salon about 1 hr earlier and walked out looking worse than when I went in. Jerry's is the only place to go !!!!!!

We had such a wonderful experience with Ellen cutting my 2 year old's hair today! A local kids' haircut place that we had been going to drastically cut their hours recently. I wanted to find somewhere else close to home but had a feeling my son's behavior might necessitate us making the drive out to another kids' salon out in McMurray. I asked my local moms' group for recommendations and decided to give Caruso's and specifically Ellen a try- I'm SO glad we did! The receptionist I spoke with on the phone to book the appointment was so sweet and reassuring as this was my first time taking my son to a "real" hair salon that primarily serves adults.
The front desk staff at the appointment were so kind as well and Ellen was an absolute gem. She was beyond kind and gracious with me and my son. Her approach also really put him at ease - he was able to sit on my lap (which was actually a lot better for him than sitting in a little car at the kids' place we had gone to) and Ellen was so great about showing each of the tools she'd be using on him (scissors , trimmers, etc.) and took the time to show that they weren't going to hurt (showing her "use" them on me, showing her "use" without cutting at first on him etc.) Although we had had a good experience at the place we had gone to before, Ellen's service was above and beyond what we had experienced in the past!! The extra time and "tricks" up her sleeve for working with a very young, very reluctant toddler were amazing and greatly appreciated. Additionally, the cut was quite efficient (even with the time taken to demonstrate the different tools) and the surrounding customers were so kind and empathetic when my son did cry a bit here and there. The setup of the salon also helped everyone's experience , in my opinion - it isn't too loud by any means but it's a large floor area and the acoustics worked as such that it didn't seem like the rest of the salon had to hear too much of my son's hard moments.
Based on this positive experience with both the salon itself and Ellen I am definitely booking with Ellen for my son's cuts moving forward and I look forward to visiting the salon myself for hair, makeup, and/or massage services in the future.
Syd was very personable, kind, and efficient. She worked with me to create a fun new nail look, and her work was excellent. The environment was clean, and bubbly. The staff was kind to all, and I enjoyed my time.
I will be going back for sure.

I loved my whole experience! First off the place is so cute, clean, and cozy. They sit down with you to address your needs and recommend the best self care for you. I had Reyna and she was the absolute best. She listened to me and helped me learned so much. I had the diamond glow treatment done and when I tell you it was amazing. It was and I saw results immediately after. Especially a day or two after. It truly helped and I will get it again soon. Thank you all and especially Reyna for making me and my face happier! ?

Will update with his name once I get that, but this guy was amazing! Straightforward, didn't try to sell me something ridiculous that I didn't need, diagnosed the problem quickly and had heat flowing near instantly. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Franz for many years. Even after i moved from the Bridgeville area to the North Hills. He and his staff have always made me feel welcome there. He is very competent and knowledgeable of his profession. His staff is also very knowledgeable. His dental hygenist does a very thorough job of cleaning my teeth and makes suggestions regarding any issues i may have As does Dr. Franz and Tracy. i would not think of going anywhere else. I have referred a few clients to his practice and they continue to see him also.. I was there to see him the other day. He is so meticulous. He really takes his time and makes sure his patients are satisfied with the outcome. ?

Had a cleaning and a filling done here. I was in a little bit of pain, so the receptionist was nice enough to slot me in quickly. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and I didn't have to wait at all. The dentist was gentle and didn't cause any pain at all. I'm usually averse to the dentist but I've already scheduled my next appointment

They are wonderful! We saw Dr Bishop multiple times with our dogs a 4yo black lab and 3.5yo cocker spaniel. Dr. Bishop spent a lot of time with our lab and making sure he was comfortable. We started the visit with him anxious/uncomfortable and ended it with zoomies and kisses. We could not recommend her more!
