I bought a Rainwise aervane that was defective. I called and emailed NK several times. They asked for pictures which I provided. They now have ghosted me. I'd never buy from them again.
Finally got a replacement so all good now.

Back in 2017 I purchased a Personal Weather Station (PWS), MK-III Internet Package, from Rainwise, Bar Harbor ME, and posted a Google review.In 2020 Rainwise was acquired by Nielsen-Kellerman and the ability to write or view Rainwise reviews were removed from Google listings. I don’t understand the reasoning since the parent company website directs you to the Rainwise website.Since I wanted to provide other potential buyers of Rainwise equipment the knowledge of the quality of the PWS and the customer service I’ve received I’m going to post to the parent company Google listing.The PWS has provided me the current weather and fairly accurate weather forecast throughout... read full review

Kestrel pocket weather meters have been a standard in my kit for more than a decade.
Whether for mountaineering in Switzerland, working with viticulturists in France, or for multimedia project location planning, I've come to realise that their slogan of "Rugged, Waterproof, Accurate" has proven to barely scratch the surface of how reliable these handy units are.
Do I recommend Nielsen-Kellerman?
. . . the real question should be; could I possibly trust anything other than a Kestrel?
