Janelle took time at the beginning of my appointment to get to know me and my hair - what do I like about it, not like, what type of hair do I have, how do I style it, what do I hope for with my hair, etc. It was SO helpful and it really helped her give me the right type of cut! I was hesitant when she said she wanted to add layers, as previously layers have just made my hair frizzy and difficult to style, but let me tell you my hair has never looked more curly and beautiful straight out of bed!!! The layers she added truly accentuated what I thought was more wavy hair but what Janelle classified as curly, and boy was she right. “I dread, DREAD, taking my son to have his hair cut. He struggles with sensory processing, and the sound and feeling of the scissors and trimmers is too much. We have made many attempts at different places and only once or twice been successful. Today we went and we got Nicole and she was AMAZING. PATIENT. And came prepared with fidget toys and other items for him. We left with no tears shed, and a little guy looking pretty fly. This momma can’t stop fan girling over her little guy. I had an appointment with Michelle and she was very understanding of everything I wanted done with my hair regarding color correction and how I wanted my hair cut. My hair was an ugly brassy copper color with dull flat layers and she was able to get me back to my natural color as well as liven up my layers and give my hair some texture.
