Switched from Douglassville Animal Hospital about 6 months ago, and the care we’ve received from Dr. Lee so far for our dog and cat has been phenomenal! He is so thorough and knowledgeable, he explains everything really well and has great bedside manner with our pets and with us. Our dog is about 11 years old and recently started having some health issues; after listening to our concerns and running some minimal but necessary tests to get to the root of the problem, we were able to get a plan in place to get our dog back on track and healthy again. “I have been going to Ark Animal Hospital Wyomissing, PA since 2003. I had 5 daschounds and 3 passed away. I have 2 left. 20 years old and 21 years old. Dr. Jones, Andy and staff are TOTALLY AMAZING❣️ They make you feel like family. They treat your pet as if it was theirs. Very important to me they explain in detail so you understand what going on with your pet. I could never go to another Veterinarian. There pricing is fare. “My son takes his Siberian Husky to the Ark animal hospital. I was looking for a new vet due to my vet aging. This vet is awesome. We didn't wait long. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant. I saw a male doctor, who was so professional and attentive to my dog and myself with my questions. The Bravecto is only 60.00 here, I was paying by weight at my old vet, last time I paid 72.00. With the first visit, plus a did get the yearly heart worms shot, even though Riley didn't have any, but to be on safe side. The fecal sample, they called the next day, it was perfect. All and all it was a great visit. And with everything the bill was only 240.00 yeay!!!!! I'll definitely be going back. UPDATE.. I was just back to see Dr Mel at Ark for my pit bull/ Dashound dog Riley. He for some reason insists on licking his front legs, back legs and his paw pads to where they were getting red. He was also getting out from under the covers at night, keep in mind dashounds are burrowers, and go around the room into covers of things and reching but not throwing anything up. He was doing this every night like 2x a night for 3 days when I called. I was praying it would go away. Well, they wanted me to call when there to bring him in different door due to them thinking it could be kennel cough. But, B4 my appointment I had one Doggie Ice cream cup left. Peanut butter flavor. His favorite. Well, see, he had stopped the reching. But after he ate that last ice cream, nope, did it 2 more times. So I called vet and said I think he is allergic to something in the ice cream. Thank God no kennel cough. They gave him a shot for allergies thinking that could be why he's licking himself. But we also discussed him CONSTANTLY licking ME!! ? Lol. If I have skin showing, he's licking me. I don't need to bathe sometimes I'm all clean! Lol. So they put him on one 20mg Prozac a day. It does make him sleepy. But, he don't lick me nor his legs and paws. They think it's a soothing thing or an OCD thing. I know dogs lick you to say they love you but Riley was taking it to a whole new level of love. I love this vet and Dr Mel ( we call him Dr Mel cuz we can't pronounce his last name) is awesome. You rock !!“

“My leopard gecko received great care, including a check up, xray, suppliment food and medication. After listing her symptoms, they got me scheduled for an emergency appt the very next day. The doctor was kind, knowledgable and straight forward. The staff were all aware of my girl's situation and comforting. The bill was fair and the instructions for at home care were detailed. When I arrived for the appointment I received a friendly greeting. The veterinarian was great with answering all of my questions and even took the time to draw me a diagram of what was going on. The office was very efficient. I plan on returning for routine care.“

“They just don't make them like they used to.... Dr. Moyer is old school for sure, but he's friendly and gets the job done when your pet needs to get well. No gimmicks or frills, just good work done well, at reasonable prices (a little low for his experience I'd say). I've been to many vets and felt like just another number in the waiting room to get processed by ill- experienced staff and vets, only to walk away with doubt, half done work, and empty pockets. Dr. Moyer's feels like pets are getting cared for because they're your family members.“
