My daughter was nurtured and challenegd attending Charter Arts. Where there problems? Yes, of course, it's high school. It's brimming with teenagers, hormones, energy, creativity, and opinions. As is any good educational environment.
The fit was amazing for our child, and the proof is that she drove 50 min each way for 4 years. She is graduating in a month, got into a top school, her frist choice, and is emerging at a 1st year college level musican. No school will be perfect, there will always be kids, staff, or something to derail you if you let it. But if you lead with kindness, do your work, show interest? Like any school, there are issues, but overall I think you would be hard-pressed to find a more interesting, innovative and accommodating school in the Lehigh Valley. I am the parent of a graduate now in college, and and another who is currently a Jr at CHARTS.
I’m entering my senior year at this school. I was so excited to grow musically at this school, and while I have, the music department is probably the only good thing about this school. It’s run by completely incompetent people.
