Three years since my eye correction and after a thorough run out of the doctors work I can tell you, it is amazing. I wore glasses for about 12 years because I was told I wasn't a candidate for LASIK. After a consult with Dr. Vale, he confirmed that fact but spoke to me about PRK which is a vastly different procedure from LASIK. The procedure it self is fairly quick, the post procedure results are not the same. Light sensitivity for me was excruciating for about 5-7 days and lasted for about 4-5 weeks getting progressively better. The final results are INCREDIBLE! Came here after being referred to by a few coworkers of mine. One of the best decisions I have ever made. Prior to surgery, my vision was poor with an astigmatism in one of my eyes. Now I have 20/15 vision thanks to Dr. Vale!
I had Lasik done with Dr. Vale and his team at the end of February. I am really looking forward to these summer months of hiking and outdoor activities without carrying around 2 pairs of glasses!I would highly recommed Acuity for anyone considering Lasik! Dr. Vale and his team are very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They are easy to get a hold of and are very responsive.
