About Shady Dog Record & Disc Exchange
Shady Dog Record & Disc Exchange is a beloved record store known for its knowledgeable and friendly owners and staff. The store offers an excellent selection of rock, jazz, classic rock, and reggae records, with many rare gems to be found. Prices are fair to steal, and on Wednesdays, they run a special on used records. The store has a great budget bin, but it is important to pay attention to the quality of the records as some may be a bit dusty. Despite this, the records are mostly not scratched and will play perfectly if cleaned properly. Overall, Shady Dog Record & Disc Exchange is a precious place for music lovers, where customers can gather and share their love for music with passionate and fun staff.
These are good people. Excellent selection of rock and jazz amongst other things (I like what I like okay??) Mike & Dave are both friendly and helpful, willing to talk shop, and even make the occasional recommendation! Not in a pushy way though. The prices range from fair to an absolute steal.I couldn’t recommend this establishment highly enough.
