“I had an estimate for a fence and needed to change the fence length so they came out again for the estimate. The estimator was nice. I asked about changing the fence color and I had a question about whether the back of my yard would be cut off after I saw the rendering. I tried to pay the deposit but they said they would need to make sure the fence estimate was correct. I asked if I could just pay the deposit pending new, possibly higher price based on my question so I can at least get on their calendar. Again, no which would have been fine if they actually contacted me back.

I called multiple times, I emailed multiple times, I spoke to multiple people who said they would need to get back to me. I left voicemails. When the spoke to someone, they acknowledged me and were nice on the phone and then said the estimator would give me a call. To which that call never came. They even said, they’ll give me a call the next day….to me hearing nothing. I’m going on almost 3 weeks in trying to get in contact with them so I’ve given up because if you aren’t going to get in contact with me before l put the fence up, I can only imagine how terrible contact is if something happens after the fence goes up.

I had multiple people come to my property, A&S wasn’t the cheapest one but I liked them the best. I went with another fencing contractor that seemed very knowledgeable and was actually responsive.

Edit: I wanted to edit to say that Sue reached out to me to personally apologize. I think the lack of response had something to do with the person taking the messages and answering the phones. I definitely appreciated Sue reaching out to me even though I went with someone else. Shows they are more about customer service than getting the money. I wish I would have been able to use them but you can’t really know an employee isn’t great until after they’ve messed up.“
