“Had to get a transponder key created for our Jeep Wrangler after losing one of the two originals. Tom took the time to explain how the technology works while he set things up, and removed the old key from the registry so that it will not work if someone finds it. Tom explained that with the 2 extra copies I had them make, if I lost a key again there is a much cheaper method for creating another copy since I would still have 2. He even said to give him a call if that happens and he would explain it to me, even though he would basically talk himself out of a programming fee. Great local business, solid folks to deal with.“

“When the plastic part of our Honda Odyssey's key FOB cracked (the electronics inside were fine, though), we got a "Case Shell Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote fits Honda Odyssey 2011 2012 2013 (N5F-A04TAA)" from Amazon for about $8 and brought it to Keystone with the original key. They were able to cut the new shell to match the original and move the electronic over to the new shell in like 5 minutes! And it cost only $37.10 after taxes! As compared to I think it was a $300 estimate from the dealer. It was a beautiful thing. There was a bit of a snafu because the new key didn't fit, exactly, the first time, but she was able to fix that in like 5 minutes (she said it's not surprising because of how the keys are - it's probably a security or tolerance thing). So if you do this for your car, make sure you bring the car with you to make sure the fit is exactly right. Also, I suspect we got off so cheap only because the electronics in the FOB were fine.“

“They did a great job. All I needed was my fob key cut; I called one day and they said a technician would call the next day to schedule an appointment for me to come in. Sure enough I did get a call in the morning and was able to head over. Within no more than 15 minutes the technician was done cutting the key. What I appreciated most is that he did make sure I used the new key before leaving. He wanted to make sure it was able to both lock and unlock the car door; so glad he took the time to see the job all the way through. Efficient service.“
