This review is long overdue. I absolutely love this place. I've been going to them for 4 years and I love their new location in Bala Cynwyd. It's so relaxing. I've been to a number of people, all of whom have been good, but I really like Annie. I get the lift treatment and when I walk out, there is a literal difference in how my face looks. She really does a great job and it's extremely relaxing!
Pete is amazing! He is knowledgeable, kind and has a gift of coming up with the ways to teach individuals with dyspraxia. It’s still quite rare to meet professionals understanding dyspraxia. He is very respectful in all of his interactions. My son is nonverbal and Pete is always talking to him not at him. My son made an incredible progress for the last 3 years. I drive my son 1 hr to have a session. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Bala Eye Care. I have been a long time patient. Every time I go there from the time I check in at the desk until I leave everyone is so courteous and professional. Dr Mathers is the best. He explained everything and always takes time to answer your questions. He is very knowledgeable and thorough.
I have used this company twice and each time I have been completely satisfied with their service. The first was just for them to leave a dumpster truck that I could fill as I cleaned out a home. The second was to remove a washer from my basement. They are pleasant to talk to from the initial phone call to any follow up. The crew are pros and make their jobs look easy. Everyone on their team is respectful and on time. I highly recommend them for any type of haul out service.

I wanted to give it some time before reviewing, but seeing Alex was the best thing I’ve ever done for my hair! I naturally have very frizzy curly hair. Alex let me know he wasn’t sure how straight he could get my hair due to having it very processed with color. Well, he got it perfectly straight. If I let it air dry, it is straight with volume, so blow drying for only a few minutes with a round brush gives me a perfect blow out every time. It’s so nice to be able to get out of the shower with straight, sleek hair! Thank you Alex!

The salon is located in the beautiful Ardmore area. Parking is less than a dollar for an hour and free after 6 pm. The salon has a clean chic look and is very spaciousI have not put heat on my hair for a while so i was sooo happy with the care Dezzi took during the wash! She carefully detangled and washed my hair before than i’ve ever had before in a salon or at home!Reasonably priced, attention to detail, good vibes, and hair available on hand!Ask for Dezzi and Ashleigh!
Haig has been cutting, blow-drying and styling my hair for more than 30 years and I have never had anyone do a better job! I travel 45 min. (each way) for his services, and am always amazed how he makes my wavy and unruly hair look red carpet ready. And the absolute best part is that every blowout lasts until I need to wash my hair next. I even convinced my husband to have his hair cut by Haig and he, too, is now a loyal client who is impressed by the time Haig takes with him and the precision of the haircut. I highly recommend Haig at Haig & Co.

I went to get gel-x nails for a wedding and Racquel did not disappoint! She did a beautiful job and helped me decide on nail art and coloring. She also was just great to talk to—so kind and funny!! It was like hanging with an old friend. Cherry on top was the salon was easy to get to with ample parking. If you can’t find it, look up for the sign :)

I switched to this salon an almost two years ago and wow is it worth it! Celia has done wonders to my hair. She is very personable and has great attention to detail. I am always nervous doing big hair cuts, but trusted her to take off over 8 inches and she did such a wonderful job! I can honestly say I trust her expertise & recommendations for any products or styling tips to add to my routine. Celia and the team at NoelSy are incredible.

I've worked with a lot of contractors over the last 25 years on a range of houses and multi-unit properties. My experience with American Home Concepts was one of the very best.
To start, Casey showed up on time and wrote out a meticulously detailed estimate right on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for an estimate. He asked a long serious of questions that helped us identify exactly what we wanted. He made astute suggestions and provided some fresh ideas, but was never upselling. In fact, he probably saved us money with his ideas.
Amazingly, we were able to choose exactly when we wanted the project to start. The crew showed up the day they promised and worked hard every day until it was done. No 'putting a ladder on the job.' There were the usual complications and adjustments, but they got it all done essentially on schedule and, also amazingly, charged exactly what they had estimated.
The crew was quiet, polite, respectful in every way, and did fantastic work. They carefully protected all the work areas and left them clean and without a singe mark or smudge. We barely knew they were around when they were working, and when they were done everything was as clean and cared for as before they arrived. The results were fantastic.
Between the professionalism and consistency they showed at every stage, the quality of the experience from top to bottom, and the value we received for the price, American Home Concepts is my new standard for judging contractors. I can't recommend them highly enough and plan to use them for all my future projects whenever possible.
We’ve been dealing with a challenging leak in our townhouse and have been given insane quotes from other companies to find/repair the leak. Paul was very quick to respond and come inspect our home. Not only did he find the leak but he also gave us some very helpful tips on how to address the issue. He was very professional and knowledgeable but also so friendly! Very nice massage spa on Bala Ave. The girls don't speak much English, but they do a good job. They seem to prefer Venmo, which is not good if you don't have it!
Absolutely amazing massage. I got the deep tissue massage and she got to work on knots I didn’t even know I had.Very skilled masseuse, definitely knows what she’s doing and can give you advice on how to care for your muscles beyond the massage as well. Wonderful service, very friendly and personable. I will absolutely be back again.
I went into Maya’s for the first time today and already I can feel a difference. I work on my feet all day and lift heavy at the gym so I had a lot of tightness in my back and shoulders. Maya spent extra time in those areas and now I feel so much better! I can’t wait to schedule my next massage with her!

Clean, affordable, effective, no-frills Chinese-style massage. I appreciated being accommodated relatively last minute due to a cancellation. The therapist also checked with me before applying an herbal ointment. I would absolutely return if we lived in this area.
