amazing experience all around!! super kind and thoughtful. always made sure I was OK with everything she was doing to my hair before she did it. She was super helpful in teaching me a proper curly hair routine. She even gave me a goodie bag of professional hair product to take home. Highly recommend! Thank you so much Gretchen
Gretchen has a very sweet outgoing personality. She provides various tips and educates on curly hair. However, the color deviated from the photo she told me we could get close to. Additionally, the finishing touches to my hair were lacking in definition and volume. I'm sure she has great training but she might get more practice on looser finely textured hair than my 3a/b thick hair. Her other work looks great, but I should have noted the difference in other textures compared to mine.
Gretchen is amazing!! When I moved to the Valley almost 7 years ago from NYI was so nervous about finding the perfect curly girl hairstylist. I searched all over and finally found her . No one ever understands curly hair but Gretchen is so knowledgeable, always gives great tips and whatever she does you are always happy with the results. My daughter has been going to her since she was 3 . She is now almost 9. We would never go anywhere else!! She is an absolute legend in our eyes!!
