Highly recommend!! We are new clients that had our furnace maintained by another popular large company (last maintenance on 12/1/22). Our furnace went out on 12/30. We were so lucky to have Scott recommend through a friend. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and he came out the next day! He may be the last of the honest HEATING/AC companies left.
You could not ask for a nicer firm to work with. They are caring, very knowledgeable, and fair in their pricing. We were ready to replace our heater when it went out and we were without heat during a few days of cold weather. This is a family business and Kevin Russo, a fine young man was our serviceman. He got down fast to thoroughly check out the system and determined what the problems were, including a bad thermostat. He made all the repairs and we are happy to say that the system is working better than it did before. We could not be more pleased with our experience and most certainly will use R&S for any services that they provide and will strongly recommend them to friends and neighbors.
Recently we all went through a historic heatwave of 115 degrees or more. Scott, and Russ, his Dad before him have always been my heating and cooling guys. On a Friday, after 5 PM, my air conditioner stopped cooling. I called Scott, but he was out of town for the weekend, so I had to have another company come out and fix it, and they charged me a lot more than it should have been. At least I got it running through that horrible, hot weekend. Fast forward to the Tuesday, and who should appear but Scott! Unannounced, he came by to see if everything was OK. I had had a power surge the night before, but was unaware that the surge had taken out my air conditioning once and for all and I would need a new unit. I am very sensitive to heat, and Scott promised he would get it as quickly as he could. He also suggested I call my insurance company and see if they would cover all, or part of the cost, and wrote up a statement for me to give them verifying the surge had burned out all the electrical on my A/C. He had the new unit on Friday, and came on Saturday to spend half the day installing it for me so I wouldn't have to go through another weekend uncomfortable. I also got a call from insurance that day saying they were sending me a check for full replacement cost, minus my deductible! This is the kind of above and beyond service you will get from this company. You get excellent service from a really nice guy, and will never get gouged on the bill. I have been using them for over 20 years and recommend Scott very highly! Stay away from the big companies, and support a local, family owned business. You won't be sorry.
