Amber Cowan and her crew built a privacy fence and four gates for us on a steep Astoria lot in very wet conditions. The products are sturdy, good-looking, and well-functioning. She handled all the permitting work, and clearly maintains good relations with the local permitting officials. I’ve hired a number of contractors over the years, and Amber was the best of them all at communicating about her plans and progress on the job. She made me feel like I was on site for the whole project even though I was actually 150 miles away. Cowan Custom Decks and Fences did an awesome job for me, replacing a fence and building a storage shed. Amber the owner is friendly and honest, and was great in communicating the different options available, with corresponding costs. Amber and LaNae do great work, and I would highly recommend them. We were in the middle of a real estate transaction and need an estimate fast. She was faster than we could've imagined, coming out to assess in less than 24hrs and receiving our quote a few hours later. Price was very fair, and she was very responsive to, and knowledgeable on, code questions where there was concern. Highly recommend!
