“I don't know where I'd be without PT 360. In early March I was scheduled for a July 31, 2024 total knee replacement. I went in for an evaluation for "prehab" to prepare me for surgery, recovery etc., Caitlin, my therapist, completed the evaluation and I began a 10 week, 2X a week, physical therapy program. Each week Caitlin added a variety of home exercises and in studio routines that allowed me to strengthen my right knee, increase flexion and regain extension of the right knee joint. My pain prior to treatment varied from 4-7 depending on activity, requiring NSAIDs, ice and rest for relief. During treatment I added twice-three times a week workouts on the recumbent bike at the gym and weights for flexion and extension. I completed the program Caitlin designed and can honestly say I am 100% better. I am walking upright for the first time in many months. I canceled my surgery last week. I know that surgery is still distinct possibility down the line but, as long as I keep up my home exercises and gym work I can hopefully delay it for months, years or longer. So, in closing, let me say, I give PT 360 my highest rating and would recommend them to anyone seeking professional and attentive PT.“
“My dearest community,
If you have ever struggled with being validated by standard medicine, your community, or yourself, please do your mind, body, and soul the honor of scheduling an appointment with Nicki McDaniel. Please do your mind, body, and soul the honor of relinquishing any preconceived or learned notions that having a physical therapist should solely be a curative option, and not also a preventative one. While in session with Nicki, she begins her practice by facilitating a mind-connection through thoughtful and intellectual dialogue, and follows this by channeling a body-connection through energy and Reiki healing. This, in summation, is what Nicki does in her practice; yet the true healing process that results from her sessions is a masterpiece beyond the grasp of my personal lexicon.

In my attempts to encapsulate the profound influence that Nicki McDaniel has had on my life, I sought out the aid of my “aspirational library.”

In the Awakening, Kate Chopin boldly wrote of a woman who had “perceived that her will had blazed up, stubborn and resistant. She could not... have done other than denied and resisted... She could not realize why or how she should have yielded.”

At the age of nineteen, I was fortunate enough to learn of the power within the things we feel resistant toward. Through a series of seminars, I learned that in the moments where we feel resistance, there is a signal that relays a message—resistance precedes an opportunity to grow. Opening and responding to this message is always a choice, one that is often made when certain aspects of the nervous system are aligned. While functioning in the sympathetic nervous system, it is natural to respond to a message through a modality of fight-or-flight. While functioning in the parasympathetic nervous system, it is natural to respond to a message through a modality of being quiet, of being still, of being within one’s self, opposed to being outside of one’s self and looking within. This state of being exists when one is able to adjust and remove interference from the nervous system through healing methods, i.e., physical therapy and reiki. This knowledge aided in rekindling my fiery and stubborn demeanor, while also helping to nurture my longing for solutions to the chronic conditions I was experiencing at such a young age.

Eckhart Tolle, in the Power of Now, aptly states how “it seems that most people need to experience a great deal of suffering before they will relinquish resistance.”

I can attest to two things: I have experienced a great deal of suffering, and it was when I relinquished my resistance toward naturopathic healing, I was finally able to find Nicki, allowing myself to begin my true healing journey.

“Stressful thoughts reflect a conflict with reality. Stress happens when the mind resists what is.” Within the Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Dan Millman provides a reminder that our mind and our body are constantly sending us signals—of joy, of fear, of hope—and we are only able to truly adapt to reality when we have an awareness of these signals.

The disciplined mental and physical practices that Nicki taught me helped guide me in connecting my mind with my body so that I may listen and respond to sensations I experience. The initial moments of our first ninety-minute session together cultivated a feeling of resistance more powerful than I had felt before. Fortunately, for me, this sensation was welcomed and encouraged by my prior teachings. Following our first session, I left with a list of books to add to my library, and a desire to immediately take off on my adventure. I crossed back over the threshold into the world feeling more lovable, capable, magnificent, and whole than I had ever felt before. I now existed in the world knowing that the universe had gifted me the perfect partner to walk next to on my journey. I now existed in the world having the faith that I could live my life as a powerful and re“
“If you need PT, this is the place to go. I received excellent care from John Zdor and 2 assistants who helped with exercises. John is a great listener, troubleshoots the problem and then establishes a plan to enable healing. He explains everything well during the sessions and if you forget to ask questions, he promptly answers them by email. All of the staff is accommodating and pleasant and makes the experience enjoyable. The space is clean, well equipped and has lots of natural light. For any future problems, this will be the place I choose to go to for help. There is little to no wait time for appointments, as the time slots are well managed, and there are timely phone reminders for appointments. Outstanding!“
“Repeat customer! Great place for getting you back on your feet. Friendly and knowledgeable with excellent results. Highly recommend Patrick and the entire team!“
“I tore my ACL on 12/31/21 landing a ski jump incorrectly and was referred to Victor Wilson at Active Edge. He helped me gain enough strength and mobility back in my leg to prepare me for surgery. Victor also spent a year with me after surgery assisting with my recovery. I have just been discharged and I’m able to ski again, along with bouldering, running, hiking, and more. I’m a very active person and Victor has made it possible for me to return to the activities I love. I am so incredibly grateful I gained Victor as a physical therapist. I had no idea how hard it was to find a really knowledgeable and talented physical therapist until I heard stories from friends and realized I lucked out with Victor. I could not ask for a better physical therapist. He’s very personable and fun to talk to and I’m glad to have gained him as a friend. Victor makes himself available anytime for questions. Whenever I’m not sure if I can try a certain movement or activity, I can just email him and he’ll respond quickly. Victor is also very flexible if you can’t figure out how to do a certain strengthening exercise. He can find another equally effective exercise instead. Victor is also very encouraging and made me feel confident and reassured about my recovery progress. Become Victor’s client and you won’t regret it!“
“We had a great experience with Stargait. They helped our twins with their development. The staff were amazing and we can’t recommend them enough. The babies showed instant improvement and while we are happy they have finished with their therapy we will miss our weekily visits.“
“Excellent experience. Thorough, knowledgeable, experienced.
I began to see results right away.“
“I found Evolve over the summer when I suddenly started experiencing vertigo. I'd self-diagnosed as having BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). I wasn't sure what was going on but the symptoms I found online seemed to align with what I was experiencing. I searched Yelp for BPPV treatment and there weren't many results, but Evolve appeared and had one very high review that specifically mentioned BPPV, so I reached out to them from their website. This was a Saturday, outside of their business hours. At best I was hoping for a response Monday morning but I got a response from Matt Whitaker almost immediately. Matt offered to meet me right away. He did some tests before beginning treatment for BPPV to make sure I didn't have any signs of neck injury. He was very reassuring, explained he was confident he'd be able to treat this and I'd be back to normal soon. I'd never experienced anything like this before so his reassurance was very welcomed. After the first treatment I was able to walk out feeling better, but it'd be another 4-5 treatments before it was completely gone. Each time the symptoms would return, I'd reach out to Matt and he'd fit me in right away. It was a 35 minute drive for me to Evolve, but honestly I'd have driven much farther. Once the vertigo was treated, I continued to see Matt for some treatment of some chronic neck pain. I had been working from home daily due to COVID and had a poor ergonomic setup. He had me take video of my set up and helped choose some items that would improve my home work station. I'm also a pool (billiards) player, and had some pain and tightness in my neck, upper back, shoulder area from years of pool playing. He provided treatment, stretches and exercises to help relieve the pain. I continued to see Matt once or twice a week for about a month. I left feeling a million times better, and the resources he provided (stretches and exercises for home) were a life saver. Once he was confident that I had the tools to keep my pain in check on my own, he sent me on my way. I'm so glad to say I haven't had any reoccurrence of the vertigo, as it's truly a miserable experience to say the least, but I'm so grateful to know that if it does come back, Matt will take care of me.“
“I have been a client of Nikki Vega's for a decade and have always left Nikki's massage table feeling amazing. Nikki is a versatile, knowledgeable and conscientious practitioner. She is talented and skilled at all the different types of massage that she offers. I am someone who prefers a deep massage and Nikki has always provided exactly what I need. I recently received my first Ashiatsu massage from Nikki and I would definitely recommend it. Over the years, Nikki has treated me for soft tissue damage related to a car accident, back and hip pain, general relaxation, and all the aches and pains that occur during and after pregnancy. I would highly recommend her to any woman seeking massage therapy.“
“It's a BOLD statement, but in my experience there is no better physical therapist than Micah Frey at Active Edge Tualatin. Micah's knowledge of his business it top level. Micah goes above and beyond for his clients and I definitely would look no further. There is certainly a reason that he is referred by so many orthopedic doctors in the area. In addition, Jessica and the support staff is always so welcoming and helpful, bending over backwards to accommodate my schedule. I do and will continue to recommend Active Edge Tualatin to all of my friends and colleagues.“
