4107 SE Knapp St, Portland“My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. Our favorite part is the daily photo updates we get from Holly when she is watching our dog ♥️ thank you, Holly!“

10505 SW Tigard St, Tigard“I can’t express enough how wonderful Halle has been with helping me train my Belgian Malinois puppy Hailey. At first, I was hesitant to sign up because I wasn’t sure about using an e-collar for training, but I am so thankful I did. We started training in May of 2025, when my dog Hailey was only 5 months old. Halle is a natural at training challenging dogs, and she is incredibly patient and kind in her approach. She has spent extra time with me and Hailey, to ensure I am comfortable with the training techniques and has given Hailey and me a strong educational base to work with. I honestly feel this has also helped me have a stronger relationship with my dog. I can’t recommend Halle enough, she is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and gets results!“

330 SW Lincoln St, Portland“We love Ruff House so so much, because our pup loves Ruff House so much! She literally runs to the door when we arrive. She has learned the word “daycare,” which we’ve learned not to say until a few minutes before we leave to head over, because she gets too excited. The staff are incredible, everything is clean and organized, there’s a great, fenced (turf) outdoor space with a hose for the hot summer days, they work on a trick of the month, and they clip our pup’s nails with ease (not easy—I’ve tried). Not to mention!!! They make cards for your doggos birthday! Complete with all their friends’ paw prints. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. ?“

My dog LOVES LOVES LOVES going to her once-a-week day-of-play and I feel very secure knowing she is in very competent, loving care while there. Drop off and pick up is a breeze. Photos and videos are sent throughout the day, to the delight of me and my family. The owners are kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have found them!“

8645 SW Birchwood Rd, Portland“I was feeling at the end of my rope with my 3 year old Golden doodle, Monkey. It seemed getting pulled around on walks and constantly apologizing for his aggression toward other dogs was just something I needed to live with if I was going to have this 90 lb fur ball in my life. One session with Mark completely changed my mindset. I am now working toward being the alpha in this relationship and both Monkey and I are much happier for it. Without sacrificing the love and affection I have for this boy, i find our walks so much more enjoyable as he trots along beside me. Basically Mark provided me with the training and Monkey has followed suit. it was worth every penny. I can't wait for our next session.
I highly recommend LOTP if you are at the end of your rope!“

809 SE Powell Blvd, Portland“Over 17 years, the Rose City crew took care of our loved cat. There was a time after moving to the west side that we went to other places, but never felt we got the same level of care that Rose City gave him. So, we started making the drive back to the east side, and so glad we did.
All the way to assessing his Quality of Life at the end, they treated him and us with dignity, the utmost care, and best intentions for his well-being. Special thank you to Drea, Dr. Beswick, and Hattie for the years of care, and to Dr. Taylor for walking us through his final stage; giving us the time to be with him and take him back home.
Couldn't give them any bigger recommendation for a veterinarian and care service. Thank you.“

17050 Pilkington Rd #210, Lake Oswego“Cat Care Professionals really is the best clinic we've ever been to. We did not know that Cat Only clinics were even a thing and we can't say enough great things about it. When our cat, Angel, passed away a few years ago, they were so supportive, kind, and loving. The front desk is always courteous, they are quick communicators, and Dr Ellingsen always takes the time to respond to us directly via email whenever our other two cats have blood work, or we have questions. SO HAPPY!“

8138 Southwest Beaverton Hillsdale Highway Hillsdale Hwy, Portland“We can’t say enough good things about Steve at The Canine Classroom! Our Cane Corso is as stubborn as they come, and we were starting to feel like nothing was going to work. From the very first session, Steve’s calm, confident, and knowledgeable approach gave us hope. He doesn’t just train the dog, he teaches us how to communicate better and set our pup up for success.
The progress we’ve seen in such a short time is incredible. Our dog is more focused, responsive, and balanced than we ever thought possible, and we finally feel like we have the tools to keep moving forward. Steve is patient, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does.
If you’re struggling with a strong-willed dog, don’t waste time anywhere else. Go see Steve at The Canine Classroom!“

25 S State St STE 2105, Lake Oswego“I’ve been taking my Samoyed here for years, Myra is great and super nice , and I always request only she sees Cosmo. But there is another girl at this location that NEVER smiles and always looks angry, with awful attitude. I’ve been at this location many many times and each time I smile at her and say hi and she just looks at me angrily. This is such an awful look for this business , and I’m actually afraid of her touching Cosmo. Very rude and unnecessary attitude. I’m only giving a 4 star because of Myra, the other girl would get less than 0.“

9373 SW Barber St Ste B, Wilsonville“The team at Safe and Hound are absolutely amazing! They took the greatest care and shared so much love with our pup while we were here for a medical procedure. They sent me updates and pics every day and made our Cooper feel safe and loved! Words can't express how grateful we are to the S&H team for giving us the time to attend to our health care while they cared for our beloved boy! Thank you again to Crystal, Alix, and the entire team!“

7360 SW Bonita Rd, Tigard“Our dogs love coming to Club K9 Tigard! They get so excited as we turn into the parking lot. We have been coming since 2018 with our 4 dogs. We have large, medium and small dogs but all are well taken care of with one who is old with medication needs. We only trust them with boarding too. They come home tired and happy. I wouldn’t trust any other doggie daycare/boarding. It’s worth the drive.“

2164 NW Hoyt St #2, Portland“Nicole Flowers is an excellent dog trainer. I highly recommend her services for any type of issue you and your dog are facing. I am with a Weimaraner rescue organization and we have hired Nicole to help us help dogs in foster and adoptive homes, and even to help dog owners who were considering surrendering their dogs to us when what they needed was a good trainer to help them. Common issues we hire Nicole for are leash reactivity, dog aggression, over protective with human, and obsessive/compulsive behavior (with people and food).Nicole's strengths are:* Experience - she has seen it all and been involved in animal training for many years.* Creative solutions - she does not presume to have the immediate solution; she spends time with the dog to understand the issue and then considers what will most likely work and modifies the training as she goes along. The results to her approach are amazing!* Professionalism, reliability and communication. Nicole listens very well to each detail the dog owner provides and explains her training approach so it is easy to follow for someone not familiar with dog training.I can truly say that in several cases where we hired Nicole, I do not know what we'd have done without her. In every case she made a positive impact for the dog and the people involved. 100% success in every case.“

9740 SW Tigard St, Tigard“My 2 labs love 4 Paws. Braxton and Brady have been going for 3 years now for both day care and over night when I am out of town, and they always are so happy to stay. My Chocolate lab has anxiety so day care hasn’t always been easy for him but I have never had an issue at 4 paws. Definitely recommend.“

7314 SW Oleson Rd, Portland“We cannot thank Kate enough for dramatically improving the behavior of our two Chihuahua mix dogs. They were very stressful after we brought our baby home, and one was potentially too aggressive. We fixed the aggression issue almost immediately and have been seeing steady improvement with guests, delivery drivers, and at the dog park. Our dogs were so crazy we hesitant to have guests, but now we can comfortably enjoy company. They don’t wake the baby with delivery drivers or go crazy at the dog park. Thank you!!“

“As a first-time dog owner, I was incredibly anxious about Koda’s safety, especially at dog parks. A friend recommended this daycare as a great place to properly socialize him when he was a puppy, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very beginning, their process gave me peace of mind. Koda had an initial assessment, including a half-day trial, which reassured me that they carefully evaluate every dog to ensure they have good temperaments before joining the group. This daycare is truly amazing! The staff are always friendly and take the time to chat with me, sharing updates about who Koda played with each day. He’s always so excited to go, and it’s clear the staff adore him. I admit I’m a bit of a helicopter mom, but they’re so understanding and always address my concerns, letting me know how Koda is doing. After a busy day at daycare, he comes home happy, cuddly, and perfectly worn out. I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s been such a blessing for both Koda and me!“
