About Swift Transportation - Troutdale Terminal
Swift Transportation - Troutdale Terminal offers a temporary driver's lounge and bathrooms, with plans for renovations that will include a dispatcher's area upstairs. The remodel in the driver lounge is complete, providing a nice facility for drivers. However, facilities such as showers and laundry are currently not available on site, requiring drivers to use nearby truck stops. The entrance gate is blocked, so drivers must use the exit side for both exit and entry, which requires caution due to trucks leaving. The terminal has also been experiencing an increase in empty trailers, causing congestion, and the yard is often a disappointment with limited parking. Despite these challenges, drivers appreciate the efforts made for upgrades and renovations, hoping for improvements in the future.
This is a very nice terminal. The showers are a decent size, they are clean and the water temperature is great. The shower rooms are unisex and they have fans in there too. The water pressure is okay. There is plenty of frozen food to choose from in the drivers lounge and a decent selection of drinks as well. The drivers lounge also has coffee available for the drivers, which is nice because at some of the other swift terminals you have to pay for coffee 🙄 but you don’t have to pay for coffee here. This is the best terminal I’ve been too so far other than Phoenix. Very modern, amazing showers, gym and laundry. Good enough parking. Stop here whenever you can. The Jurupa Valley terminal needs to take notes 🤮
Nice company. Easy hore . Brand new trucks offer. Nice orientation. Solutions for drivers getting old in theirs company. Very nice everything. I didn't understood yet the system without dispach.
