I’ve known Joe and the team since I was 14 — I’m 22 now — and there’s honestly no other gym like this one. The people here are humble, genuine, and always willing to help, no matter your level. Over the years they’ve become more than just instructors or training partners… they’re my friends.
I haven’t cheated on this gym yet and don’t plan to — unless I move out of state ?

River City Warrior is an excellent dojo with a very friendly and welcoming environment. The coaches place a strong emphasis on safety and longevity in training, which really sets this place apart. They are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about their students’ progress and well-being.
One thing I really appreciate is that the coaches never pressure you into any sales or memberships. As long as you are respectful to others and not trying to actively injure your sparring partners, you will fit in just fine here. The culture encourages control, learning, and mutual respect.

Coach Joe and Chris are awesome! I had never tried Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and had a blast! I signed up for a free class and bought a membership that same day! They do all sorts of classes there!
