I’ve been getting my lashes done by Shawna for over a year, so it was only natural that she did my wedding day makeup! My lashes are always so perfect and she is so great with working with whatever I'm feeling that day. For my wedding, we slowly built up the fluff. My trial went perfectly and Shawna listened to everything I wanted, and gave great advice for my skin and facial features! I had Shawna do my hair and makeup for my wedding and could not have been happier with how it turned out! From the very first inquiry I sent in, Shawna was so communicative and easy to plan with! She understood exactly what I was looking for from the inspiration photos I sent, and executed everything perfectly on the day of my wedding - I felt beautiful! She did such a good job on my hair and makeup, as well as a few of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup - I definitely recommend!
I highly recommend Shawna for bridal makeup, especially to those of Asian descent. It's so hard to find an Asian makeup artist in the Portland area, but Shawna is great and affordable. She's super sweet and took her time with me during the trial and day of the wedding. She reminded me that it was important to give her feedback on her style. My bridesmaids loved her too. Everyone's makeup looked so natural and stunning. It was also my first time wearing false eyelashes and it was so much fun! My makeup looked so natural in our photographer's photos.
