The first doctor was impossible to understand due to the language barrier. She clearly didn't hear me either. That Dr. is no longer employed there. The staff appeared snarky and Impatient with me. I have difficulty walking, talking at a normal rate, and my ability to see has declined. All of those things put together make checking in for appointments difficult. The MA might just have an overall distaste for it all. She's been less than friendly each time. Looking forward to my next visit as it's an important step in my journey. Took nearly a year to get this point in testing. Dr. Lisa is nice. None of them seem to comprehend what one might be going through. But Dr. Lisa...read full review
Topic: All Other.I was given a referral to Dr. Lisa Grant's offices on Aug. 25, 2021. I was granted an appointment on Feb. 2, 2022. She recommended physical therapy and an MRI. I later received this email:Lisa Grant, MDFeb 28, 8:11 AMHi Travis,Your lumbar spine MRI did not show anything alarming, or any disc problem that correlates definitely with your symptoms. You do have some degenerative type changes at a few levels, which most people do, causing some narrowing around the spinal cord and nerve roots to a mild to moderate degree. That could explain some of your pain. There does not appear to be anything that you need immediate referral to a surgeon for. Have you gotten schedule with physical therapy? If that doesn't help, we could consider referral to a pain specialist to to discuss possible injections in your spine. We can see how you're doing at your next follow-up after some physical therapy, or you can return sooner if you need to.Dr. GrantShowing 1 of 1The physical therapist reviewed the MRI imaging on Marc. 17 and found spinal stenosis on my L3-L5 vertebrae. Dr. Grant on my March 23 follow up admitted she hadn't looked at the imagery until that very morning despite her earlier message. I have subsequently been sent to Columbia management who also diagnosed me with L3 spinal ligament reticulosis. Now why is it I received a message that there was nothing (and please go away) and suddenly she was shamed by the physical therapist into actually viewing the imagery?I will be proclaiming tales of this inconsistency and poor performance until I die to any of Dr. Grant's potential patients. With alarm,Travis Anderson
