Maui is someone you can trust. It's so nice to have an agent that whose integrity and competence you can put your faith in. I was a smaller client than Maui's typical clientele and I felt like a big client. The team is professional and expert - I had great experiences with Chelsea and Cody as well. I'm so grateful to have worked with this team and I could not think of a better team to put your faith in for such a major purchasing decision. Carmen and her staff, of Cherry City Properties are excellent. So much so that I've returned here to update from 4 star rating done in the middle of attempts to get my HVAC back up and running) to a five star rating plus at the successful conclusion. This is not a cavalier suck up feel-good upgrade, they earned it. One example Against all odds they, Carmen the manager, her head repair guy, Ricard, (and the generic handyman dictated by the owner), and an expert HVAC business, persevered to manage the home I'm leasing with excellence and tact. They successfully managed, with minimal cost to the owner, a HVAC failure during a difficult time, in a wildfire smoke and covid nightmare. This as well as respectfully dealing with a distant home owner, who was experiencing more sever local wildfires themselves far away. If an owner is reading this, I recommend using Carmen's excellent connection with the experts to save money by doing the job right. Her tact and diplomacy and well earned respect in the community of repair professionals, present a case study of professionalism. The best thing about the wonderful, beautifully renovated home I'm renting is Carmen's professional management. She took the difficult route of thoroughly and tactfully exhausting all options requested by the owner, in a timely manner, until a speedy thorough repair was done. As a result we beat the next smoke drift by a day and have a comfortable home just as the fall temperature drop is a few days away. The wildfire smoke is in the MERV 13 air filter, not the walls and ceilings as it could have been thanks to her decisive skills. I love this home, and even more appreciate all the service Cherry City Properties has performed.

I have bought and sold many houses in my 81 years and Cody Cornett is the best realtor I've ever had. He knows the housing market, he immediately understood what we were looking for, he knew every house that was advertised in The Dalles, and was willing to spend many hours with us to find the perfect house. He knows the business side of the process inside and out and was always able to answer our questions. The ability that sets him far above anyone else I've ever worked with is that I truly felt that I was the only person he was working with. When I called, he was almost always available. If he wasn't available, he messaged me to say when he would get back to me AND he always did. When the inspection report was negative, he helped me get past my anger and disappointment. He is always so positive!!! I was so impressed that I asked him to help me sell my house in Portland. Even though that's 90 miles away, he was able to help me get my house on the market with great pictures, the right price and we sold the property very quickly. The buyers were difficult and their realtor was dragging his feet. Cody's people skills made the difference between a happy sale and a lost sale. If I could nominate him for realtor of the century, I would.
