They managed to get me in for a same-day appointment to remove some cheat grass from my dog's ear, and both the receptionist and the doctor were very kind to both me and my dog. And, although I was quoted a price when I made the appointment that included sedation, I was very happy that Dr. Steve first tried removing the cheat grass without sedation--and succeeded! That meant that I got out of there for half of what I expected to have to pay, and more importantly, my dog didn't have to deal with being sedated. The vets are great... they don't overcharge. The vet assistants are all very kind and knowledgeable. I'm so happy that there is such a great vet so close. Dr. Steve and Dr Mike are both just great!

I feel like we struck gold finding Dr. Myron at Black Butte Vet. He was AMAZING with our four-year old pup Bodhi, who has had some pretty traumatic experiences with other vets in the past. The doctor was the one who welcomed Bodhi into the room. Right from the get go, he was down on her level building rapport, keeping her calm and happy. He checked her teeth, ears, etc. and before Bodhi could blink, he had given her all of her shots! Truly extraordinary! Both Dr. Myron and Janice at the front desk were incredibly warm. The energy in the office was really chill, which helped immensely in keeping Bodhi calm. The office was clean and we were in and out within 30 minutes. I could go on and on about the service they provided and the things they did for us that no other vet has ever done, but I'm trying to keep this review short and sweet :-) In brief...If you're looking for a vet in town...you definitely want to check out Dr. Myron. I'm convinced he's the best around.
