Dr Coulon is a wonderful vet. I recently had the unfortunate experience of a fatal horse injury. When I got to the barn she was already there with our barn owner, who’d called her out right away. She met me at my car, and started telling me what she’d observed on arrival. My 8 yr old Arab gelding either snapped a bone in his leg or had a fatal heart attack, tripped awkwardly and fell, and never moved after hitting the ground. She gave me a hug and told me how sorry she was, then left me and my daughter to cry and say our goodbyes to him. She cut his tail for us to keep, let me know if I had any questions later, to contact her. She was very soft with us, and seemed to genuinely care. Later I got the invoice for her services. She waived charges for the exam, and gave us a discount on top of that. A month ago she did his teeth. She did an excellent job then, also. I was very pleased with her services. I recommend her highly if you want a vet who educates you, is friendly, and truly seems to care about the horses she treats (and their owners).
