Saved my rotting house. They can do a lot more than just painting. Honest, nice, professional. They went the extra mile and couldn't be happier with the final results. Will call them for anything I need done in future.
My house in Astoria was just painted by Velazquez Painting. The estimate provided for the prep work seemed reasonable when I signed the contract, and while the contract stated prep work would be charged on a time and material basis, I was rather shocked that bill for the prep work was 2.75 times the estimated amount. There were no change orders to the job, no dry rot repairs, no hidden bad spots. When Velazquez visited the house to prepare their estimate, the condition of the exterior paint was awful, paint peeling everywhere. My expectation was that the cost for the prep work should have been much closer to the amount quoted.
