Expensive and Canadian owned. It is a nice place to spend too much money on things that you can buy elsewhere for a better price with less poncey help, but the deli and hot food are #Legit. #BestFrenchDipInSalem

Roth's is a great market, although pricey. This rating is specifically for the deli grill. Many items from the grill are great, such as their seasoned burgers. However, what they are passing off as a Philly cheesesteak sandwich is an abomination. Anyone, such as myself, who has lived in or around Philadelphia and knows what a real cheesesteak is, would be horrified to bite into one of these. I was. That was a couple of years ago. I just tried another one today in hopes that it had gotten better. It had not. This just appears to be some thinly sliced roast beef and cheese or something, with terrible heavy seasoning. I like their deli, for the most part, but I will never order another cheesesteak sandwich.

I really like this store because of their produce, variety of foods, cleanliness, friendly cashiers, sushi being made fresh, locally made products and the location. I wish they didn't close so early.
