We've lived here about eight years, there is nowhere else we will ever take our animals. Dr Poet has a remarkable amount of compassion and speaks in plain terms. We easily got another two good years with our little Doxy. Easily the same with our elderly Tabby cat. When it was time, she was wonderful and compassionate. We're nearing the end with our older tuxedo cat. They understand the tough choices people have to make as pet parents. When we brought our new kitten home, she told us what to do to keep everyone safe (other felines). She and her staff are unquestionably the best veterinary staff we've ever used.

I've been going to Highland Vet now for over 7 years with several dogs. I've had some very super sick dogs. We've had two surgeries. We've had a dog what had a bizarre immune system disorder. In all cases they saved my dogs! And they were really really kind to me. Cindy especially has been just wonderful. She's a kind person, thoughtful and professional. Dr. Poet is my hero. I'd almost rather go to her for medical care than some MD's I've known. I'm not affiliated in anyway, no relatives of mine work there, etc. I feel very lucky to live in Redmond where we have such a great FIVE STAR vet hospital like Highland Vet. When my border collie was dying of cancer, and we tried a surgery, I used up an entire box of Kleenix, I just couldn't stop crying. And they were so supportive and kind, it touched my heart. And when one of my dogs died they all signed a card that's still part of my little memorial to my beloved Macadoo.

I have struggled to find a Great Vet clinic since moving to the Redmond/Bend area. So much so I drive 180 miles to my old vet !! I had an emergency today with my 1 yo Dachshund and they got me in to see a doctor 20 mins later! Awesome, friendly employees. I Think I have finally found my new Vet!! Thank you !
