I’ve been a client of Paula’s for a very long time 25+ years.and tried desperately to reschedule, she never returned my call/texts so I finally went by after waiting 1.5 months because I know how busy she is, she couldn’t get me in till end of May. We both took attitudes and she said I made her feel Guilty, oh my! and she dropped me as a client. Oh well, I’m sad about it but service like that is not worth it. All she had to do was tell me that she doesn’t want me as a client earlier on and that would have been much nicer. Bad attitude

I cannot believe I have not written a review. Maybe it is because I have been going to Paula (owner of Villa Villa Kula) pre-Yelp. She is beyond fabulous and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for her services. I believe she also rents a space for a massage therapist. Her salon is located near other cool shops including Staccato Gelato. As noted by other reviewers, she is immensely popular and doesn't often take new clients. I have to make sure to book at least two months in advance for my next appointment. They do not have a receptionist and the voicemail will direct to contact each stylist to book your appointment. My hope is she will open again when it is safe for her and the other stylists.

I've been looking for a new stylist and I'm so, so glad I found Dani! She has listens carefully to what you want, and does a great job of making your ideas a reality! She's also a fun person to chat with, and the salon itself has a comfortable, hip vibe which is a perfect reflection of the neighborhood. It might seem like a wait to get in, but it's worth it!
