We have recently moved away from the Portland area and one of the biggest losses for us was leaving Viking. Over the course of the decade we were with Viking, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hendricks, and their teams saw all 4 of our fuzz butts, 2 of them through the end of their lives. We have never been more grateful than to have been directed there after several bad experiences elsewhere. The quality of care from start to finish for both us and our pets was top notch. This is a fear free certified vet clinic. That's what I've been looking for because of the way they treat me and they treat my puppies. They are friendly, they are cuddly, they love the dogs to death and the dogs know it and never give them a hard time. Even though it's a bit of a drive from my home to the clinic I'm not going anywhere else I love them there.
I really wish I knew of this place sooner! The staff are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They have a phenomenal system down to ensure anxious and reactive dogs are comfortable and feel safe. I took my one year old boxer here for his neuter and it was by far the best vet experience my dog and I have ever had. They were helpful every step of the way and really cared about my dog, Bear. Their communication with me was top of the line and they were all so kind. I cannot recommend them enough.
