    We live in a historic neighborhood in Portland, a 100-year-old home that was in desperate need of a solution for old leaky windows and doors. The required oversight of the historical society was potentially nerve-wracking, and the in-kind replacement was rather pricey. Serendipitously right after a terrible ice storm an advertisement arrived in the mail from Sashwright; "Are you freezing your sash off?"     We had an old, large, very heavy storm windowover the main living room window that leakedfrom the top and made a mess of the original ancientleaded glass window panels inside. The fit had weakened and gotten sloppy over time. I had seen a Sashwright truckin our neighborhood more than once, so gave thema call, and David and Michael came to the rescue!They carefully removed the huge storm window and carefullyrebuilt it to fit the original frame which itself had to be repaired! To further seal it at the top some form of foam rubber molding was also inserted. Fantastic expertise here, it was flawlesslydone.Final result: perfect!     We had a couple of windows in our dining room replaced with ones built by the folks at Sashwright and they look and work great. Dave did an excellent job installing them and was very friendly. Would definitely suggest Sashwright for any window needs. A+
