“Florentin & Lidiya do an excellent job of tailoring, alterations, and additions! I brought him my wedding jacket a month before my wedding, and he added all the notions I brought (like replacement buttons, added ribbons, trim and edging), and they did a wonderful job of following my design illustrations and giving me just what I needed for my wedding.

I also had a near emergency when a groomsperson has to drop out and we needed to get his jacket altered to fit his replacement— we brought it to Florentin & Lidiya, and they were able to get it properly fitted and smart looking, along with a pair of tuxedo pants I needed hemmed!

All were done on time, with great care, and all in their small garment shop. I highly recommend them if you need general alterations, military rank and ribbon additions, or anything else required for your garment needs! I'll definitely visit them again if I need any alterations or additions made in the future.

“If you're looking for a seamstress look no further!! On top of having a great dry cleaning place, their seamstress is THE BEST! She is consistently reasonably priced, super helpful, kind, timely, and excellent work. She has helped me fit a dress and then personalize it with ideas I had pictured in my head. On top of this, I collect Coogi's and other extremely complicated vintage sweaters, and I always come to her to fix the imperfections. Small to huge holes, burns, raw hems, pulled strings, EVERYTHING is always fixed to make them look new again. I regret not taking pictures of the before's and after's, but seriously they're great!“

“The owner here is old school/old country … which is not a bad thing. The place had NYC vibes. It’s not a place to hang out and have coffee. It’s a seamstress’s studio with an obligatory waiting area. She is always busy when I walk in, never too courteous, just enough so but the work is solid. Prices are not cheap but fair - commensurate for the work done. Often if it’s a minor job and if she is not overwhelmed she will do the work as I wait. My go to place for alterations.“
