I have taken my husky Blue here for boarding multiple times. He always seems to be doing well when I pick him up, so I think they must be treating him right. They said he gets a walk every day, and that he likes toys. I believe he enjoys his time there. They do a good job trimming his claws and giving him a bath before I pick him up.

I have a big intact male rottweiler who has been a bit sassy when people who aren't me pet him. I'd been very nervous about any boarding situation but had to board him for 6 days for work. I let Sauvie Island Kennel know he's great unless he gets pet. They respected his boundaries and everything went great. Will be going back here for any trips I have in future.

We've taken our dogs to the Sauvie Island "camp" for close to twenty years, and we, and seemingly the dogs, are very pleased with the facility and the friendly and knowledgable people.
