Providence Immediate Care - Gateway is a healthcare facility that diagnoses and treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Common conditions include abdominal pain, coughs, colds, flu, dehydration, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fractures, lacerations (stitches), migraines, respiratory problems, rashes, skin problems, and sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs). One patient had a great experience, appreciating the quick service and friendly staff. The nurse and doctor were reported to be caring, friendly, and thorough, making the patient feel at ease during a difficult time. Another patient came in with a high heart rate and a cold, expressing gratitude for the doctor who explained their EKG results. However, they noted that the walls were thin and they could hear conversations about themselves on the other side, which did not make them feel comfortable. They suggested that the staff have more compassion, as stated in the facility's mission. A third patient appreciated the change in environment and services, expressing gratitude for the understanding and respect shown towards individuals like themselves. They mentioned the difficulty of finding proper healthcare as a Native American and valued the care they received at Providence Immediate Care - Gateway.
