These guys are the best barbers I’ve been to in Portland. Maclain does an awesome job, listens to my vague ideas about what I’d like done with my hair and makes it look good. They provide old school service done right - even including hot towels and straight razors for shaves. Even more importantly, they work to create a comfortable, welcoming, safe environment for ALL people. They really make you feel like you’re a part of small community when you come in the the shop. They even have a donation bin to help our houseless community in Portland! In these covid times, it’s also worth noting how far above and beyond they’re going to protect themselves and customers. Appointment only, temp checks, masks for all required, only one customer/barber in the shop at a time, extended appointments and deep sanitizing of all equipment between customers.
