What a super cute concept! As the name suggests, My Vinyl Underground is, well, underground. Located inside a small comic/picture book store, descend a small flight of wooden stairs and you find yourself transported into a tiny room with records aplenty. There is quite the wide selection of records, and they also buy records. We brought some of ours to sell, and after inspecting the condition, we were given decently good money back on them. If I have more time in the future, I would definitely go take a deeper look at their offerings. This was a fun little adventure that's worth the trip!
Cool place! Lots of records and cds to choose from! The building you enter has a bunch of books on the first level and records and cds in the basement. Two different shops. You should check it out!
I wouldn't be surprised if I've been to over 100 music shops in my life. There's nothing like this one in the US. I spent hours just looking and listening to the Spanish import vinyl. Chris, the owner, was super friendly and happy to put on different bands, talk about their history and family tree, and generally nerd out with me. He was dropping references that I didn't know, but that made him all the more excited to put on other bands that influenced those bands, and so on.The shop is mostly vinyl but I even bought a few new CDs, which I haven't done in years. I didn't even really get to the used vinyl this trip.Highly recommended for indie, indie pop, twee, dream pop,...read full review
