Misty is my favorite massage therapist of all time- they communicate well, tailor our sessions to my needs, and offer wisdom and support through their touch. I did not know much about Amma therapy before booking with them, and now feel deeply that the tradition they practice supports the whole body's functions and vitality, instead of focusing superficially on new aches and pains. On a recent visit to Portland from the east coast I booked an appt with Misty based on a recommendation from a friend. I had just moved prior to the trip and was experiencing tightness and numbness in my upper back. By the next day my numbness had completely resolved and two days later I was no longer experiencing pain. I was able to enjoy my trip thanks to Misty’s treatment and I’m so grateful I found them when I did! Their care and down to earth nature was refreshing and therapeutic. Misty is the BEST AMMA massage therapist EVER!! If you have never had an AMMA massage, you MUST TRY one with Misty! I have had massages on a regular basis for over 25 years, from dozens and dozens of therapist, but Misty and Amma massage are hands down my favorite now. Misty is highly trained, intuitive and dedicated to her practice and your care. I highly recommend her.
