I have filed a complaint with the SEC. I called Merrill Lynch to tell them I filed the complaint and to register my frustration and the customer service person said it was an unproductive conversation and hung up. THIS IS MERRILL LYNCH CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY.

I have a Merrill Edge IRA. My experience has been a nightmare. They try to prevent you from moving your money to another entity in every way possible. They will turn off functionality in your online account so you cannot move your money. They completely turn off access to your account so you cannot see what they are doing with your money. If I could put zero stars, I would. The app will not allow zero stars. Not a good company to work with. Very poor customer service, unprofessional and not educated on products and process. Constantly changing the requirements and not telling the truth. Will not allow a customer to speak to a supervisor. Stay far away!
