Mae’s daughter has excelled in her roll as inheritor of the barber shop, commendable. I hated the idea of finding a new barber, or having no other choice than to let “north east “ barber shop give me more insults and grief because I had the audacity to walk through the door and expect a little customer service, like a “hello, be with you in a moment “ or a nod or ….. I’m really glad she took the reins from Mae.

Low-key, old-school-looking barber shop, but current sharp (pun intended) skills! I said "I like the current length" and she said "OK" and made my previous haircut from a "salon" (at twice the price) look even better. I'm very happy!

Great haircut today! My hair is so much healthier after trimming it down, and with her suggestion of layering, it looks fuller as well. Friendly and comfortable little shop. Owner is quick, good at her job and doesn't ask an arm and a leg for a cut. Definitely worth every penny. Didn't ask about highlights or dyes. I'll be back here for certain, one way or another. It might just be my new local salon for a while now!
