As a residential contractor we have used Lovett Deconstruction since their inception. Without fail their work is exceptional--clean, efficient, thorough, conscientious and always with sustainability as a priority. E very one of our clients over the years has loved them. But I cannot say enough about the jaw-dropping Salvage Shop on St. Helens Rd. It is a feast for the eyes! Salvage repurposed, reimagined and recreated into delightful works of art. The entire warehouse is a giant Cabinet of Wonders, the likes of which you probably have never seen. There is no end to the curious, beautiful, and inspired. Lovett is a gem of a shop! The space itself is gorgeous and makes you want to meander, looking at every little thing. There is a personal touch to the merchandise that makes it feel like you are buying from family. Whether you are looking for sweet tchotchkes or beautiful lumber, you're going to find it here. Staff is helpful and interesting to chat with. Also, there is a wooden phone booth that tells fortunes. Does it get better than that?

Great stuff, beautifully displayed and organized AND lovely people to help you find what you didn't know you needed! This place is amazing with great finds and super creative repurposed items made into really cool stuff!

Passionate about service and preservation, we consider the work of deconstruction to be an artform. Rather than demolishing structures, we are invested in the craft of thoughtful dismantling so historic lumber and other materials can be diverted from landfills and given new life. All materials that are saved in our deconstruction projects are either reused onsite, donated locally, or are transported to our lumber and salvage shop to be prepped for sale to the community.
