I have been gone to Iolite salon for last +12 years. The hairstylist, Thao is an excellent, very talented,creative, very trendy, kind, and very professional. Also she is a wonderful person who really listens your needs and would do anything to help with appointments ( working early or staying late). I really believe her cutting technique and coloring is the best in this field. When I am ready to leave from the chair, I am the happiest person....Thao does amazing job. She is so energetic and her salon is always spotless clean, chic and modern. What else can I say....I highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a great hairstyle in happy environment.

I have been going to Thao for ten years for blonde highlights and haircuts. She is the first hairdresser I chose when I arrived in Portland, based on the very positive Yelp reviews. She has incredible talent, patience, and a wicked sense of humor. Her heart is huge. And she never cuts corners, only does her very best every time. Her customers are very loyal and many consider her a good friend, as do I. You will not be disappointed.

Thao is wonderful! I texted her out of the blue, asking if she had an openings for a curly hair trim. Even though she was leaving on vacation in a few days, she offered to fit me in at 7am the day she was leaving! It was such a pleasure talking with her and getting to know her, she made me feel welcome in her salon. She listened to what I wanted and gave me what I asked for, and I'm very happy with the result. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly, approachable, and experienced stylist. I will be returning soon!
