In rebuttle of the previous review by Timothy, Dr Holmgren is not at all a monster. Dr Holmgren is a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, gentle, and caring vet who goes out of his way to help animals and understands and respects the love those who own pets have for their pets. For the last year I have been struggling with the reality that my dog has little time left. He has gone above and beyond to make my dog pain free without him being "drugged" up. Because of Dr Holmgren I have been given almost an entire year more with my best friend. Not only did he extend my time with my dog, but he coached me through the difficult process of having to make that dreadful decision. Today he will be helping me to free my friend of pain and me to say good-bye. I am forever grateful for Dr Holmgren's care and compassion for my best friend and me. He is not a monster, he is an angel.​

Lovely, old-school, country-style vet care. No computers in the office, no five-week wait for an appointment. Dr. Holmgren is knowledgable and kind. He let me know what he was doing as he was doing it, and was careful and gentle with my sweet dog.

Fifth star restored! Dr. Holmgren went out of his way to put some insulin in the storage box outside the door this morning, and I was able to pick it up before heading in to work, and administer it to my little guy! The fact that Dr. Holmgren went in early to provide it, and allowed me to pay later, further shows that he is caring, professional and willing to go the extra mile for his patients!
