Leslie’s 200-hour yoga-teacher training program at HeartSong Yoga in Portland is exceptional. After 27 years of practicing yoga with high-level teachers, and several years teaching yoga in the mid 90’s, I thought it would be a breeze to participate in a current yoga teacher-training program. Instead, Leslie’s program inspired me to work harder. In addition to re-training me how to teach asana, the program deepened my knowledge of all aspects of yoga. The training weekends (and plenty of homework) included substantial study of the sutra and its components, as well as in-depth analyses of dozens of yoga poses.
