Dr. Uhlig is very considerate, and made me feel comfortable talking about my needs. This is the second time I've been there for a new prescription and new glasses. The first time was great; the second time was even better, since we were building off of the earlier foundation. The staff person who helped me pick out new frames was also thoughtful and seems to accept people for who they are and what they like (without pushing a certain style). Will definitely return.

I love this place. I've been going here for many years. I always feel well taken care of. They do a great job of presenting different options as my vision changes over time and I always appreciate the honest feedback and suggestions when picking out a new frame.

The last time I was inside Hawthorne Vision Center it was after I received a text that said my new replacement lenses were in the store. There was parking available in the tiny parking lot. Schmoopie noticed the yellow Volkswagen bug parked outside this time. I wonder did the employees get bribed with cupcakes again. Although, I've had a lot of free cupcakes from my previous employers (mostly corporate bosses give those out) there was a short time when I would eat only sugar free foods because I didn't want to feel horrible during the "sugar crash."
